Hi, I'm Julie. Thanks for stopping by.
I was raised in New Jersey (yes, I will defend its amazingness), educated in the great city of Baltimore (go greyhounds, hon) and been living and working in New York City for the past 15 years (guess I’m an official New Yorker now, where has the time gone?!).
When I’m not working, you can find me exploring my city. Reading a book. Cycling to nowhere on my peloton. Or running on the west side highway listening to audio books. I really like books, if you can’t tell. I also love training for races. I’ve done five marathons and countless half marathons.
Interestingly enough, I started running marathons when I was writing for Nike at R/GA. When I take on a new project, I go all in—whether it’s crushing 26.2 miles so I can understand running, learning the BMW model lineup (all 100 of them!) or living through a kitchen renovation to help make them a little less painful (why, hello American Woodmark Cabinetry!). And that’s exactly what makes my job great: learning and working on so many new things. It’s what I love the most about what I do.
So now the question is: What will I learn next? Reach out, and let’s chat about your writing and content strategy needs.
